For the last two years, Polaris has been pleased to be a mile marker sponsor for Note in the Pocket's annual Sock and Undie 5K Rundie. Note in the Pocket believes it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school. By providing quality clothing donated by the community, they empower homeless and impoverished children to succeed in the academic environment. This year’s Rundie involved 900 participants who helped surpass the organization’s goal and raised funds to clothe over 1,500 children.
